Chronology of cameras Ihagee
With a simple design, similar to those of a box camera, this model has a wooden body covered with canvas. The view finding is on a ground glass placed above a mirror which stands up while shutter is triggered. There is no viewfinder on its own. The cocking lever is on the front above the lens, from 1924. Before this, it is located on the right side (I did not find any explanation for this change.)
The diaphragm consists of a metallic plate drilled with three holes of different diameters that is slid in front of the lens.
This camera may be found fitted with several possible lenses. Depending on the lens and format, the camera bears a number, and this numbering is referred to in Ihagee catalogs and other, in a more or less hazardous way.
